One of many advantages of seeing your organisation's culture as its system of mindsets is that it inherently encourages low-risk, high-leverage, pragmatic action. You can get started and move forward at your own pace.
But even then it's inevitable that you'll encounter unanticipated obstacles, blocks and barriers as you move forward.
That's when it can be very useful to get some 'grey haired' help to get you back on track from someone who's been there and done it before in dozens of different organisations, industries and cultures.
Some of my clients need very little support once they get themselves started. The occasional phone call, virtual or physical meeting is enough to keep things moving forward at a pace that suits them.
Others want more frequent input - a working session every few months to review progress, address arising challenges, and provide coaching support to sponsoring executives and internal change champions so they can refocus, renew and regain momentum.
